Registration Information
Registration may be completed through one of the following two options:
Group registration (preferred option): A representative of the delegation registers all members of the delegation through a single group registration and uploads the corresponding note verbale or formal letter on behalf of the delegation.
Individual registration: Each delegate registers separately. In this case, each delegate must upload a copy of the corresponding note verbale or formal letter as part of the online registration process.
This process must be completed by 10 August 2026. Please note that it is not possible to complete an online registration without uploading the required note verbale or formal letter.
Should additional delegates wish to register after a group registration has been submitted, they may be registered either through a subsequent group registration or through individual registration. In either case, an updated note verbale or formal letter reflecting the full composition of the delegation must be uploaded. Any such additional registrations must be completed by 10 August 2026. Any other changes to the composition of delegations should be communicated to the ATT Secretariat by note verbale or formal letter at registration@thearmstradetreaty.org by the same date.
Please note that confirmation of accreditation will only be issued by the ATT Secretariat once the registration process has been completed for all members of the delegation and the required note verbale or formal letter has been validated by the Secretariat.
Media representatives are requested to register online and upload their credentials for accreditation to the ATT Secretariat by 10 August 2026.
Registration Process
With reference to the ATT Rules of Procedure (RoP) (here), the following registration process applies for the different categories of delegations who wish to attend the Twelfth Conference of States Parties to the Arms Trade Treaty (CSP12).
PLEASE NOTE: Note verbales and formal letters submitted for registration to CSP12 must list all delegates who will participate in person and/or follow the Conference proceedings via livestreaming.
States Parties, Signatory States and Observer States wishing to send a delegation to CSP12 (in accordance with RoP 1, 2 or 3) should submit a NOTE VERBALE to the Head of the ATT Secretariat listing all delegates, indicating the full name and position of each delegate. The head of the delegation, alternate(s) and advisor(s) should be clearly indicated. In addition to this, each individual member of the delegation must register.
PLEASE NOTE: Every State that registers for CSP12 will be considered to have participated in the Conference and to have been ‘in attendance’ for the purposes of Rule 5 of the ATT Financial Rules (here).
International and Regional Organizations wishing to send a delegation to CSP12 (in accordance with RoP 4) should submit a NOTE VERBALE to the Head of the ATT Secretariat listing all delegates, indicating the full name and position of each delegate. The head of the delegation, alternate(s) and advisor(s) should be clearly indicated. In addition to this, each individual member of the delegation must register.
Civil Society Organizations including NGOs and Industry wishing to send a delegation to CSP12 (in accordance with RoP 5) should submit a FORMAL LETTER to the President of the Conference (through the ATT Secretariat) requesting to participate and listing all delegates, indicating the full name and position of each delegate. In addition to this, each individual member of the delegation must register.
PLEASE NOTE: Where NGOs and industry representatives are registering for the Conference with an international coalition of NGOs or an association representing industry, a single FORMAL LETTER from the international coalition or industry association listing the names of the organizations/companies represented and their delegates is considered to be equivalent to an individual letter from each organization/company.
Media representatives are requested to submit their credentials for accreditation to the ATT Secretariat via the online registration platform.
Objections by States Parties against the representation of a delegation
In accordance with Rule of Procedure 7.4, any objection notification of a State Party against the representation of a delegation received by the President at info@thearmstradetreaty.org by 10:00 CET Saturday, 22 August 2026 will be referred to the Conference for a procedural decision. In accordance with Rule of Procedure 7.5, any representative of a delegation whose participation has been objected to shall be seated provisionally until the Conference has given its decision.
Information for remote participants (livestreaming)
Delegates following the conference proceedings via livestreaming will not be able to make interventions during the sessions.
The link will only be sent to participants who have registered online and have been accredited.

When joining the Zoom meeting, you must rename yourself using the following format: Country/Organization_First_Last name (e.g. ATT Secretariat_Carina_Solmirano).
You need to change your name before you join, as you will not be able to rename yourself in a Zoom waiting room. Only participants who are correctly identified will be admitted to the meeting.
