The Arms Trade Treaty Research Consortium (UNIDIR, Conflict Armament Research, and the Stimson Center), with the generous support of the United Kingdom, will be beginning an initiative titled “Evaluating the Impact of the Arms Trade Treaty”. This side event will launch the initiative with an interactive discussion on key elements for the first comprehensive review of the ATT's influence on national control transfer systems, processes for countering diversion, and international cooperation and assistance for peace, security, and reducing human suffering.
