This event will bring together youth representatives sponsored by Control Arms to participate in the 12th Conference of States Parties to the Arms Trade Treaty. Representing diverse regions and backgrounds, these young leaders will share their perspectives on strengthening the ATT through meaningful youth participation. The discussion will explore practical ways to integrate youth voices into ATT processes, highlight why their engagement is essential to the Treaty’s long-term effectiveness, and identify concrete opportunities for States Parties and stakeholders to foster more inclusive and representative decision-making. Essentially this event will focus on how best to support the next generation of arms control advocates.
