CSP8 OPENING SESSION
The opening session of the Conference will take place on Monday, 22 August 2022, from 10h00 -11h00 and will be addressed by the following invited speakers:
- H.E. Ms. Annalena BAERBOCK, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany
- H.E. Mr. Peter MAURER, President of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC)
- Ms. Melanie REGIMBAL, Head of ODA's Geneva Office, representing the Under-Secretary-General and UN High Representative for Disarmament Affairs
- Mr. Alejandro CASTAÑEDA MEDINA, Disarmament Analyst, Colombian Campaign to Ban Landmines (Control Arms)
THEMATIC DISCUSSION ON POST SHIPMENT CONTROLS
The thematic discussion on Post Shipment Controls will take place from 11h15 to 13h00. The session will take the format of a panel discussion involving the following persons:
